Ruth Tomlinson x Still Life Flowers

Every year we look forward to creating and photographing our Christmas campaign for our website, email newsletters, and social media - an exciting activity that sets us up for the festivities ahead. We decided from the start that this year's campaign should be shared with another local creative who, like us, also celebrates the beauty of the natural world with integrity and respect. 

We felt excited to showcase our jewels in the context of being worn. After all, that’s what we make them for: to be worn, treasured and enjoyed! Our jewels are designed to change and flourish with wear, adapting to their unique wearer and lifestyle, so we thought it would be lovely to see them in action.

We visited a much-admired local London florist, Carla from Still Life Flowers, who shares a similar approach in her craft to Ruth. She allows the natural materials she works with to dictate the end results, while highlighting their unique beauty and character. 

Carla wore our rings and bracelets throughout the process of making Christmas wreaths from her beautiful selection of British grown dried flowers. We then used the tiny remnants from her work to create little floral worlds to showcase our earrings and necklaces, highlighting their magical minute details.

The pairing of Carla's stunning floristry with Ruth's organic treasures, has created a campaign more beautiful than we could have imagined. We hope you think so too!
