Dazzle Exhibition - New Talent
Follow
I have some pieces currently showing at the exhibition Dazzle which started this week and will run through until the 8 January 2012. There is always some amazing new talent to view, much of it from recent graduates from Edinburgh College of Art.
Stacey Bentley uses industrial liquid enamel over wire elements using iron, steel and other precious metals, she creates pieces with a sense of fragility.
Another recent Edinburgh graduate Emma McFarline, produces some inspired pieces using materials such as enamel, cardboard, and steel to silver, gold and graffitti paint. She uses vitreous enamel with textile techniques such as weaving and sewing.
Morag Summerling, inspired by the way manmade and organic interact, and uses the irregularity of surfaces and accumulated textures found in natural landscape to produce these eye catching three dimensional pieces.
