Anna Karenina - the new film adaption

I’m off to see the new film of the classic Tolstoy novel tomorrow and hope it doesn’t disappoint as images of the wonderful costume and opulent jewellery certainly convey the air of opulence that the film should convey.  While the use of the jewellery is not historically accurate of 19th century Russia everything used by Chanel demonstrates the decadence and vanity of that period which I think will add to the visual appeal - for me at least.

I think my Green Amethyst Encrusted drop earrings wouldn’t look out of place in such a story…
