A gift guide for celebrating love...

It’s that time of year again where the cultural and commercial celebration of Valentine’s Day unfolds. Did you know that the day first became associated with romantic love in 14th-century England, when the tradition of courtly love flourished? In 18th-century England, it evolved into an occasion in which lovers expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards.

In 2017 we feel it fitting to celebrate not only romantic love, but also the platonic love shared between friends, affection and compassion towards others despite our differences, familial love, and - very importantly - loving ourselves.

And so we’ve pulled together an edit of gorgeous jewels in shades of pink, the colour that represents romance, friendship, compassion and nurturing, to recognise and encourage the celebration of all these different types of love that we’re able to share within our world.
