Our Guide to Alternative Engagement Rings

Follow

Solitaire Engagement Rings - this popular style of engagement ring features a single diamond without any side stones, accent stones or other gemstone embellishments. Our take on this classic style ranges from using a more traditional round, faceted antique miner’s cut diamond, to unusual styles that feature raw diamonds in their natural, uncut form - completely unique as each crystalline form of these precious stones is itself unique.

Coloured Stone Engagement Rings - these have been gaining popularity in recent years, though it must be noted that the hardness of the stones used should be on the top end of Mohs Scale of Hardness. Softer stones will get scratched and damaged more easily with daily wear, while harder stones such as sapphires, topaz and rubies (and of course diamonds) will wear well with time and provide a more enduring personal treasure.
