RCA Final Show

Lastnight I went to to the final shows at Royal College of Art to check new designers which, as always, proves interesting.

My favourite from ceramics being Susan Nemeth who showed these amazing porcelain vessels.

Sophie Manners uses of a variety of materials to create textiles that have an amazing feel like this one woven from silk, horsehair, viscose and raffia.

Zemer Peled ‘I am walking in a forest of shards’ - 

Ya Wen Chou used some fascinating material experiments -

Emile De Visscher creates a new process to create man-made nacre, allowing to coat any shape - ‘Pearling Time’ - the possibilities are endless!
