We’re hiring! We’re growing and looking for two new recruits to join our friendly team based in our busy central London studio. If either of these roles sounds like your cup of tea (or someone else you might know), we need to hear from you!

 

FINE JEWELLERY BENCHWORKER - full time, Monday-Friday

Candidates for this position should have experience of making fine jewellery to a high standard of finish. They should be able to turn their hand to finely detailed wax working, intricate soldering of small components in precious metal, filing small components and fine wire working. 

A good understanding of the luxury brands industry would be really helpful too. 

Above all, we are looking for someone with an intuitive approach to metal, wax and other materials and a genuine enthusiasm for Ruth Tomlinson jewellery.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, initiative and a can-do attitude. They will also have an organised and flexible approach to work, with an emphasis on getting things done, and be a real stickler for detail. 

 

STUDIO ADMIN ASSISTANT - full time, Monday-Friday

This position will play an important role in helping to ensure that all aspects of production and sales administration and general day-to-day studio management run smoothly. This is primarily a supportive role to the Sales and Marketing Team, and to the Studio Manager.

The successful candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and have a basic technical understanding in and demonstrable experience of managing digital platforms.

This is a position for an individual who is keen to get involved in the retail and client relations aspects of the company, and sales experience in the luxury goods industry would be beneficial.

Tasks includes:

  • - Keeping the studio well stocked and clean
  • - Taking responsibility for the dispatch and post processes
  • - Helping us to get the most from our I.T systems
  • - Meeting and greeting visitors to the studio
  • - Marketing support, event preparation and diary management
  • - General filing and the upkeep of various databases
  • - Data entry and administrative support
  • - Ad-hoc personal assistance to Ruth on various administrative matters
  • - Supporting the team with ad-hoc tasks and errands
