Join us for our exciting London Craft Week events

With London Craft Week fast approaching, we're readying the atelier for our line up of tours and events. We will be presenting our first ever retrospective exhibition of Ruth's work spanning two decades and demonstrating the development of her highly creative wearable treasures. We'll be offering personal daily tours of the exhibition and our newly appointed atelier, giving our guests an insight into Ruth's approach and process, and a look behind the scenes where each jewel is imagined and crafted entirely by hand.

The highlight of our LCW schedule of events is going to be our panel discussion which will consider the topic of luxury craft in the commercial sphere with particular reference to jewellery. As a craftsperson who walks the fine line between creative designer-maker and commercial businesswoman, Ruth pairs traditional craft with commercial credibility and we look forward to dissecting this subject in more detail. It will be taking place on Saturday 11th May, and we've invited craft and jewellery aficionado, Janice Hosegood (Head of Communications at Cockpit Arts), to host the talk. The panel will consist of Ruth Tomlinson (jewellery designer-maker); Grant Gibson (podcaster, writer and magazine editor) and Annabel Davidson (journalist and jewellery writer).

Guests will also enjoy a first-hand account of Ruth's retrospective exhibition curated especially for London Craft Week, a personal tour of her newly appointed atelier, a champagne reception hosted by Champagne Gosset, and light refreshments.
