A love story from one of our brides

We feel so privileged to get to play a role in forming the special memories and stories that our clients create through their celebrated life events - from weddings and anniversaries, to celebrations of new life and commemorations of lives lived to the fullest.

One of our recent bridal clients who chose our Pearl Drops with Diamonds and Barnacles to wear on her wedding day, shared her special proposal story with us:

"David and I were in Cornwall, visiting the tiny island of St Michael’s Mount, getting lost in its myths and legends of over a thousand years of fascinating history.

We'd climbed the steep cobbled pathways up to the island’s summit, discovering treasures from its past along the way, until we reached its huge Medieval castle. With views of the sea relentlessly pounding the shores below, we weaved our way through the garden terraces bursting with colourful blooms, taking in the abundance of subtropical plant life amongst the drifts of aeonium and agapanthus.

Breathing in the salty air, scented with springtime blossoms, David suggested we look for a quiet place to sit and have a picnic. Meandering further towards the East Terraces, I noticed him lagging behind somewhat, so I turned around and there he was on one knee asking me how much I loved him, and whether it was enough for us to spend the rest of our lives together. My unhesitating answer was undoubtedly “with all my heart, yes!”
