Follow

I visited the Isamu Noguchi Garden museum in the village of Mure on the Japanese island of Shikoku. It was was here that he carved the large granite and basalt sculptures that culminated his career.  I visited his studio and house which were are a sanctuary for his superb sculptures, inredable forms of stone like I have never seen.
